Meet Jho, our Senior Kayak Guide from Ruteng, Manggarai, who has spent more than 10 years in local tourism and the past 3 years with Komodo Kayaking. For him, guiding isn’t just work, it’s a way of living his passion on the water every day.

Guests say Jho has a bit of a lucky streak, he’s often the one spotting dolphins, Komodo Dragons strolling the beach, or other unexpected wildlife encounters. Beyond the paddle, he knows a lot about local culture and plants, and he’s never shy to share a story or a song along the way.
