These Komodo Kayaking Terms and Conditions apply to all trips, bookings, and services provided by PT Komodo Kayaking Indonesia. When you use our website or confirm a booking, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully before making a reservation.

Our goal is to communicate clearly and honestly before and during your trip. For this reason, we always provide the most current Terms and Conditions with your booking documents.
When you book through our website, email, or WhatsApp, you enter a binding agreement with Komodo Kayaking. In these terms, “you” refers to all guests on the booking. “We” and “us” refer to Komodo Kayaking.
This agreement follows the laws of the Republic of Indonesia.
These Terms include our Privacy Policy. It explains how we collect, store, and use personal information. This includes email communication and website cookies.
We list trip prices in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) or US Dollars (USD). When we show prices in USD, we use the exchange rate at the time of invoicing.
Unless stated otherwise, prices include applicable taxes. However, prices do not include gratuities, additional transport, or services not listed in the itinerary.
We accept bank transfers only. For clarity, we do not accept cash, cheques, credit cards, or payment on arrival.
Payments may be made in IDR or USD, as shown on your invoice. In all cases, guests or agents must cover bank transfer fees.
To confirm your booking, we must receive full payment at least 24 hours before arrival. If payment does not arrive on time, the booking remains unconfirmed and no refund applies. For bookings made 15 days or less before departure, full payment is required at the time of booking.
To secure your space, we require a deposit within seven days of reservation.
Depending on the trip, full payment is due 30 or 60 days before departure. If we do not receive payment by the due date, we reserve the right to cancel the booking.
Before departure, we provide itineraries, packing lists, and trip information. Your reservation email includes a detailed gear list.
Most trips suit beginners, although activity levels vary. Therefore, guests must understand the physical demands of their chosen trip. If you are unsure, please contact us before booking.
In addition, guests with medical conditions should consult a doctor before travel and inform us in advance.
You can make a reservation in one of the following ways:
All cancellations must be submitted in writing by email.
Deposits are non-refundable. After the final payment date, cancellations are not eligible for refunds. However, guests may transfer their booking to another person with our approval.
If you wish to change a booking, please contact us as soon as possible. Changes made within seven days of departure count as cancellations.
We offer private and charter trips for individuals, couples, families, and groups of any size. These trips allow greater flexibility in schedule, route, and overall experience.
If you are interested in a private journey or custom charter, please contact us to discuss options and availability.
We provide all technical equipment required for activities. Guests must use equipment only as instructed by guides.
If misuse causes damage or loss, guests must cover the replacement or repair costs.
For all trips, travel insurance is mandatory. We kindly ask every guest to arrange their own coverage before joining a trip.
Your insurance must cover medical treatment, emergency evacuation, trip cancellation, and delays. Sea kayaking takes place in remote areas, and access to medical facilities may be limited. For this reason, proper insurance helps ensure your safety and peace of mind.
We may request proof of valid travel insurance before departure. Guests who arrive without suitable coverage may not be able to join the trip.
Guests must choose trips that match their abilities and interests. Before departure, guests must read all provided information and follow guide instructions.
In addition, guests must disclose any relevant medical conditions before travel.
Komodo Kayaking acts as an agent for transportation and related services. We do not accept liability for events beyond our control.
Because conditions can change, we may adjust routes or itineraries due to weather, safety concerns, or park regulations. If we cancel a trip completely, we will refund payments not already paid to suppliers.
We may adjust prices due to changes in operating costs. These may include currency fluctuations, fuel increases, government taxes, or National Park and harbor fees.
After booking flights, guests must send us their flight details. We cannot delay departures for late arrivals.
For this reason, we advise holding travel insurance that covers flight delays or cancellations.
Sea kayaking expeditions require physical and mental fitness. Guests must assess their ability honestly before joining.
Before departure, all guests must complete a medical form. If safety concerns arise, guides may limit participation.
On expedition days, paddling distances may reach 20 to 30 km, depending on weather and sea conditions.
Guests on a waiting list must pay a deposit. If a space becomes available, the normal cancellation policy applies.
During trips, we may take photos or videos for promotional use.
We reserve the right to remove any guest whose behavior affects safety, operations, or the experience of others.
Komodo Kayaking may suspend or terminate access to its services at its discretion.
We look forward to our conversation. Perhaps you prefer emails, but we also monitor our Social media, and WhatsApp channels. We want to hear from you, to speak together and learn what would make the ideal adventure in Komodo for you…and then make it happen.
