Komodo Kayaking started because we fell in love with this place. It’s hard not to. The moment you arrive here, you feel something special, the wild beauty of Komodo National Park, the calm of the sea, and the stories waiting to be told. We wanted to share that feeling with you.

It all began with a simple idea to show people the real Komodo, not just the postcards or quick tours. We wanted to paddle these waters ourselves, explore hidden beaches, and meet the creatures that call this place home. So we gathered a team of locals who know these islands like the back of their hand, and Komodo Kayaking was born.

We believe in slowing down and enjoying every moment. Whether you join us for a day trip or a multi-day liveaboard, our goal is to give you an authentic experience. Dragons, Manta Rays and…

No visit to Komodo is complete without seeing the legendary Komodo Dragon. On Komodo Island or Rinca Island, you’ll meet these amazing creatures in their natural home. Watching them move slowly, flicking their tongues, is a memory you’ll carry with you.

BUT Komodo offers more than dragons. Paddle through clear waters and you might spot graceful manta rays, turtles, colorful fish and even dolphins (if you are lucky enough). The underwater world here is as breathtaking as the land, and we want you to experience both.

Expedition

Kayaking Komodo while staying on a liveaboard is something special. You get close to nature, quietly paddling into hidden beaches and calm bays, places big boats can’t reach. Then, after a day on the water, you return to your cozy boat to relax and share stories.
