That training opened up a whole new world on the water unlocking new skills, new adventures, and a chance to share the hidden beauty of Labuan Bajo and Komodo.

From paddling through lush mangroves to landing on untouched beaches, Gerland loves showing guests the quieter side of the park. Always eager to keep learning and growing, he’s committed to responsible travel and creating meaningful experiences for every adventurer.
